Use this method to kick a user from a group

POST /kickChatMember

Use this method to kick a user from a group, a supergroup or a channel. In the case of supergroups and channels, the user will not be able to return to the group on their own using invite links, etc., unless unbanned first. The bot must be an administrator in the chat for this to work and must have the appropriate admin rights. Returns True on success.

Body Required

  • chat_id integer | string Required

    Any of:

    Unique identifier for the target group or username of the target supergroup or channel (in the format @channelusername)

    Unique identifier for the target group or username of the target supergroup or channel (in the format @channelusername)

  • user_id integer Required

    Unique identifier of the target user

  • until_date integer

    Date when the user will be unbanned, unix time. If user is banned for more than 366 days or less than 30 seconds from the current time they are considered to be banned forever

      • migrate_to_chat_id integer

        Optional. The group has been migrated to a supergroup with the specified identifier. This number may be greater than 32 bits and some programming languages may have difficulty/silent defects in interpreting it. But it is smaller than 52 bits, so a signed 64 bit integer or double-precision float type are safe for storing this identifier.

      • retry_after integer

        Optional. In case of exceeding flood control, the number of seconds left to wait before the request can be repeated
