# CDR Data

Call Detail Records (CDR) files are made available out-of-band over **SFTP** — there is no HTTP endpoint to retrieve them.

**Connection details**

  * **Host:** `sftp.zimconnections.com`
  * **Protocol:** SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol)
  * **Username:** the `account_id` attributed to you by your account manager
  * **Authentication:** public SSH key — share your public key with your
    account manager so it can be installed on the server. Password
    authentication is not supported.


**Upload cadence**

CDR files are automatically uploaded to your SFTP directory **every hour**.
